From tie-dye, buttons to gimp, learning by doing is one of the basic philosophies of our arts and crafts program. Each activity inherently teaches children basic skills of hand-eye coordination, following proper use of tools and different media. Emphasis is placed on the fact that each child’s work is unique and valued. Thus, their natural creativity is fostered, leaving each camper with a feeling of success from completing a project that is their own creation.
